Serie 1: Transformación Del Alma
about this collection:
You're locked in a room.
These four walls have been your entire universe for as long as you can remember. Your eyes have adjusted so perfectly to the darkness that you no longer reach for the switch — you've probably forgotten it's even there. You've replaced the memory of light with the comfort of the blind, continuously telling yourself that this is as bright as it gets.
You've learned the furniture by touch — the sharp edges of old traumas, the soft carpets of familiar distractions. You’ve learned there’s a small window, but there is no door. You navigate the space with a practiced, yet blind grace — an organized chaos you've tried your best to manage.
But there's a mystery a foot. Every now and then you hear movement — movement that didn't come from inside this room — so there must something outside this room, or so you gather. You hear peculiar echoes… and they all sound like you.
Desamparado:
Every day the room feels smaller. At first only by a few inches, then progressively by a few feet. Then one day you wake up and you can't breathe. Tired of bumping into all of the objects you’ve somehow accumulated in a doorless room, you continue searching for a door that you know is not there. You fall to your knees. What kind of God would allow this? Pray, pray, and pray but there’s no response, you think.
Confused and no longer satisfied, you desperately try to find an exit, a way to get to those voices, a way to feel more… whole. You can’t explain it, and you have no proof, but your soul knows there’s more. The echoes from the outside get louder and louder, as if they’re taunting you with their freedom. But why do they all sound like me?
La Revelación:
Then suddenly, it dawns on you. La razón por la cual no hay escape: las paredes de esta habitación no fueron construidas para mantenerte dentro, sino para mantener el resto de ti fuera. Why would I cast out my own happiness? Why am I so afraid of being in the light? Because light requires truth, but offers uncertainty. With light, there’s no guarantee.
Liberación:
You see, you aren't a prisoner; you are an architect and a lead engineer — the mastermind who simply forgot why you authorized the construction of these walls in the first place. Light can’t leave you, if you never let it in.
The only way out is to break through. When you start building again — because you will start building again — make sure this time, you do so consciously. Without locking any parts of you out, or any parts of you in.
